Blood pressure class

FRIDAY

W.L. Class of ’80


West Limestone Class of 1980 will have part two of its 30-Year Reunion at 5 p.m. Friday, at West Limestone Cafeteria. Bring a covered dish. After dinner, members will sit together at the WLS/Ardmore football game. All former classmates and teachers are invited.

VFW Auxiliary fish fry

VFW Ladies Auxiliary will have a fish fry from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at the VFW building on Alabama 127.

SATURDAY

Cars on the Square


Cars on the Square will be from 2-9 p.m. Saturday. Call Bland Allen at 256-603-1227.

Used book sale

Friends of the Athens-Limestone Public Library will hold a used book sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Audio books and large print books are also available.

Charity breakfast

The Bethel, Tenn., Masonic Lodge buffet breakfast is from 7-9 a.m. Saturday. Public invited. Proceeds go to charity.

Coffee Call

The Alabama Veterans Museum & Archives Coffee Call is from 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday at 100 W. Pryor St. Sponsored by Henry and Marsha White. Call Vicki or Sandy at 256-771-7578.

Patterson reunion

Laxson reunion

Horse language

Jim Swanner will be at Tractor Supply Company in Athens from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. to share information, knowledge and demonstrate horse language.

MONDAY

WOW family day


Woodmen of the World annual family day will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Woodmen Lodge, U.S. 72 West. Barbecue, trimmings and drinks will be furnished. Families are asked to bring salads and desserts.

    Athens High School Future Business Leaders of America will host a coupon-clipping class from 6-8 tonight in the Athens High School cafeteria.  Tickets are $10 each in advance and may be purchased from any AHS FBLA member or by emailing Lori Jones or Brandi Foster at brandi.foster@acs-k12.org or lori.jones@acs-k12.org.
