• Trunk & Treat. Lamb of God Lutheran Church, located at 11716 County Line Road in Madison, will host a Trunk & Treat event in the church parking lot from 6-7:30 tonight, Oct. 31, for children ages 4 to 14. It will include a hayride, candy and refreshments.

• Hallelujah Jamboree. The Pleasant Grove Fresh Fire Youth Ministry and Senior Pastor John W. Jude present a Hallelujah Jamboree Worship Celebration from 6-7:30 tonight, Oct. 31, at Pleasant Grove Church, 15439 Hastings Road in Athens. Dinner served at 5 p.m. Event features Travis “T-Ack” Acklin of Harvest Time Outreach Ministries, PG's own Anointed Voices Youth Choir, The PG Youth Combined Dance Group and M4JC Modeling Agency.

• Hallelujah Fall Festival. Round Island Baptist Church at 14790 Browns Ferry Road in Athens will be held from 6-8 tonight, Oct. 31. Games for all ages. Public invited.

• Fall Festival. A Fall Festival will be held at 6:30 tonight, Oct. 31, at St. Mark P.B. Church, 740 Sanderfer Road in Athens. Event includes games, hayride, candy and refreshments. Children of all ages can dress in costume. Public invited.

• Yard sale. Lebanon Community Church on Alabama 99 will hold their annual yard sale, chicken stew and bake sale starting at 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.

• Community outreach. A free coat giveaway will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at St. Mark P.B. Church, 740 Sanderfer Road in Athens. Contact: 256-233-1700.

• Quarterly singing. Oakland Church of Christ at 18111 Townsend Ford Road in Athens will hold their quarterly gospel singing at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3. Public invited. Contact: Jeff May 256-233-8775.

• Gospel meeting. A gospel meeting will be held Sunday through Tuesday, Nov. 4-6, at Sardis Springs Church of Christ on Mooresville Road at Alabama 251. Sunday schedule is Bible class, 9:45 a.m., worship, 10:30 and evening service at 3:30. Monday and Tuesday services are at 7 p.m. Greg Chandler will speak on the book of Ecclesiastes.

• Outdoor Community Musical. Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church Music Ministry will host an Outdoor Community Musical and blood drive from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, on the grounds of the church at 380 Indian Creek Road.     The Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives will host a Memorial Day ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Limestone County Event Center on Pryor Street across from the Veterans Museum.
