• Benefit singing. Crossroads Church on U.S. 31, formerly Bethel Freewill Baptist Church, will host a benefit singing from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 19 featuring The Terrys and other singing groups. Proceeds will help pay funeral expenses for Leoma Moore.
• Community cookout/homecoming. Westside Church of Christ at 25704 Smithfield Road in Elkmont will host a community cookout from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 19. • Pastor anniversary. St. Paul Wales Missionary Baptist Church in Pulaski will celebrate Pastor Leonard Shackleford’s sixth anniversary May 20.
