o Guest pastor. Clements Baptist Church will host Dr. Johnny Hunt from First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Ga., at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4. o Dedication service. Fletcher's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church No.1 will dedicate its new building at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9. Elder John L. Clay and St. Mark Baptist Church of Huntsville will be the guest church. The new church is located at 30592 Hardiman Road in Madison with pastor Kenneth B. Lankford Jr. Everyone invited.

A “pawsitive” reading experience dedicated to improving reading skills of children ages 5 and older, called 4 Paws and a Book will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. today at the Houston Memorial Library in Athens. Children can bring their own book or read a favorite of Miss Sophie Grey, a Yorkshire terrier, who will be present for the program. -
