Mud Volleyball deadline
Deadline for the 21st Annual CASA Mud Volleyball tournament is noon Wednesday, July 1. Blood drive
An American Red Cross blood drive will be from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday at Superior Bank, 1319 U.S. 72 in Athens. All donors receive a T-shirt, coupons for free food items and are entered to win a $1,000 gasoline card to be given away in three months. Call (256) 990-0830 for more information.

Buffet breakfast
The Bethel, Tenn. Masonic Lodge will serve a buffet-style breakfast from 7-9 a.m. Saturday. Everyone is invited. Proceeds go to charity.
Coffee Call

Athens Lions Club Kiddie Carnival is now open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Ride tickets are 50 cents with 10 rides including swings, Ferris wheel, roller coaster and the train. Bingo and concessions available at the Kiddie Carnival located on Forrest Street across from Athens Middle School.
Baker family reunion
