Brief history of business: Ashley Wise opened this business in 2006 as part of her dream to be a provider in this community. Ashley grew up in this community and still calls it home. The business has grown enough to allow her to expand and include Sara Wood in her dream. Sara began doing some clinical hours with her in 2010 and said it was a perfect fit for her and Ashley to work together. Both were called to be caretakers and feel this is exactly where they are supposed to be. They are now expanding to add several new exam rooms and generally more space for our growing practice.
Background: Sara graduated nursing school from UAH in 2006 and went to work in a surgical/ trauma intensive care unit at Huntsville Hospital as a registered nurse. She later decided to go back to school and earned a master’s degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner.
She is originally from Huntsville and moved to Athens five years ago when she got married. She is now proud to call Athens home.
Qualifications: Sara is a certified registered nurse practitioner. She earned her degree at UAH and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
