A Huntsville company is branching out to offer swimming pool repair and maintenance to Limestone Countians.
Jeff Monroe, franchisee of America’s Swimming Pool Co. of Huntsville, said he began serving Limestone at the beginning of March.
“We’re excited about the opportunity here and the phone is ringing off the wall,” he said.
ASP not only performs repairs and maintenance, but also checks pool chemicals on-site meaning customers don’t have to come to him.
For the past 26 years, Monroe worked as an insurance agent and property manager. When he was a teen, he began working in construction and did so for 15 years.
“I’ve gone back to (construction) with the pool company, though the hours are really long right now,” he said. “With everything blooming so early, we’re about a month ahead of schedule and that has a lot of people doing in March what they would be doing in April. It’s a good problem to have.”
ASP operates 93 franchise territories in nine states. The company manages about 60 million gallons of water per week and services both residential and commercial swimming pools.
Monroe said he’s a one-man operation right now, but he anticipates eventually branching out and hiring several crews.
“We’re starting to walk first, and then we’ll run,” he said.
For more information, contact Monroe at 256-426-5957 or email Huntsville@asppoolco.com.
