At their recent annual meeting at The Birmingham News, the Alabama Associated Press Managing Editors named officers and board members for the upcoming year.
Kelly Kazek, managing editor of The News Courier, was named treasurer.
President is Ken Tucker, managing editor of The Dothan Eagle; president-elect is Scott Morris, executive editor of The TimesDaily in Florence.
Board members are Bob Davis, editor of the Anniston Star; Michele Gerlach, publisher and editor of The Star News in Andalusia; J.D. Davidson, publisher and editor of The Times-Journal in Fort-Payne; Curtis Coghlan, managing editor of The Huntsville Times; and Virginia Martin, state editor of The Birmingham News.
