She is the granddaughter of Steve and Diane Gilliam and Wade and Connie Shannon. Her great-grandparents are Irene Burt, Glenn and Betty Bracken and the late David Burt, the late Charlie and Ione Gilliam, and the late Dan and Mable Shannon. Alyssa has one sister, Madison.
