John Sales celebrated his 91st birthday Feb. 3 at his home in Madison with a cake and ice cream party. He was born Feb. 3, 1921.
The celebration was hosted by his children, Eugene Sales, Mary Wynn, Ethel McCollough and Catherine Moore.
Mr. Sales is a faithful member of New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Tanner.
Sales said he thanks God that he lived to see this day and was able to share happy and fun memories of his past with friends and family.
