County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Holly Elliot Calvert, 47, of 26865 Whitt St., Ardmore, driving under the influence

• Jeffery Scott Carter, 39, of 502 Brownsferry St., Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for failing to pay child support

• James Travis Carwile, 31, of 10011 Paradise Shores, Lot 2, Athens, second-degree theft (grand jury indictment) and third-degree theft

• Austin Smith Clem, 24, of 24123 Black Road, Athens, grand jury indictments for first-degree rape, two counts of second-degree rape and two counts of second-degree sex abuse

• Doyle Alan Cosby, 44, of 18502 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for second-degree theft

• Monroe Jefferson Kyle III, 35, of 13275 Browns Ferry Road, Athens, possession of a controlled substance

• Hoyett L. May, 79, of 55 May Road, Hartselle, DUI

• Randall Lamar McCafferty, 50, of 26525 Bethel Road, Elkmont, first-degree theft

• Jeffrey Levi Montgomery, 26, of 24710 Elkton Road, Elkmont, possession of a controlled substance

• Shirley Adrian Scott, 58, of 1755 Pine Bluff Road, Perry, Fla., third-degree theft

• No name listed because of age, Elkmont, DUI

• Billy Joe Siniard Jr., 34, of 15886 Mooresville Road, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for second-degree forgery



County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• ATHENS – Miscellaneous health and beauty items, valued at $44, stolen Nov. 20 in 16000 block U.S. 72 West

• MADISON – Vizio TV and RCA 13-inch TV, no value listed, stolen between Oct. 22 and Nov. 20 in 12000 block Henderson Lane
