Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Stephanie Shena Cooley, 29, of 810 N. Clinton St., Athens, five counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Bradley Austin Pugh, 33, of 4116 Newson Road, Apt. 135, Huntsville, non-support
• Kathy Jean Caldwell, 49, of 19795 Alabama 127, Athens, third-degree assault
• Joshua Dillon Cook, 19, of 22250 Howard St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
• June Teresa Jones, 62, of 123 N. Main St., Athens, illegal possession of a credit/debit card
• Joseph Allen McCown, 24, of 27421 Gatlin Road, Ardmore, harassment
• Reginald Allen Pryor, 41, of 10765 Griffith Road, Tanner, third-degree theft
County thefts
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday and Wednesday:
• LESTER – 1971 Volkswagen, valued at $2,500, stolen between April 1 and Oct. 25 from 25000 block Hunter Gates Road
• ATHENS – 18-foot utility trailer, valued at $3,500, stolen Oct. 25 from 15000 block Quinn Road
• ATHENS – Cash, jewelry valued at $400, and medication stolen between Aug. 1 and Oct. 19 from 24000 block Chadwick Drive
• ATHENS – Nothing missing from a burglary Oct. 29 in the 24000 block Copeland Road
• ATHENS – Louisville brand 8-foot stepladder, valued at $184, stolen Oct. 29 from 19000 block Elkton Road
• TANNER – Batteries, no valued listed, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle between Oct. 29 and 30 from 10000 block U.S. 31 South
• ATHENS – Acer brand Aspire Netbook, Touch iPod, iPad, portable DVD player and Pandora bracelet, total value $2,225, burglarized between Oct. 15 and 30 in 25000 block Copeland Road
