County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Name withheld because of age, 17, of Elkmont, three counts of breaking and entering a vehicle

•  Gerald Ray Cook, 46, of 7301 Highway 207, Anderson, first-degree manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance

• Darius Lamont Freeman, 38, of 16615 Albert Road, Athens, driving while suspended

• Steven Lynn Gandy, 50, of 19474 Cross Key Road, Athens, bond revoked on previous charge of possession of a controlled substance

• Joseph Arthur Johnson, 48, homeless, first-degree receiving stolen property

• Seth Colin Josefowicz, 19, of 110 Crystal Breeze, Harvest, violated probation on previous conviction for driving under the influence

• Donald Joseph Key, 47, of 906 Willow Brook Drive, Huntsville, possession of a controlled substance

• Cherie Gail Miller, 56, of 10350 U.S. 72, Lot G, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for possession of drug paraphernalia

• Joseph Channing Moss, 33, of 22300 Sandlin Road, Elkmont, surety rescinds bond on previous charges of second-degree possession of marijuana, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• ATHENS – Three red saddles, black saddle and numerous harnesses, total value $3,600, stolen between Oct. 15 and 16 from 24000 block Holt Road

• ATHENS – 2000 Dodge Neon, valued at $3,300, stolen between Oct. 5 and 16 from 18000 block Oakdale Road

• ATHENS – Nothing reported missing in a burglary Oct. 16 in 17000 block Circle Drive

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Michael Anthony Carlisle, 50, of 21100 Myrtlewood Drive, Athens, probation revoked on previous conviction for driving under the inluence

• Kayla Alexsandria House, 25, of 20555 Piney Chapel Road, Athens, arrest for Florence Police Department

City thefts 

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Cellphone, valued at $50, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle between Oct. 16 and 17 in 21000 block Williamsburg Drive

• $7,000 damage to Chevrolet Camaro, including exterior paint and four 20-inch wheels, in criminal mischief between Oct. 16 and 17 in 25000 block Airport Road

Wrecks

• Frances Ray Carter of Athens and Angie Castleberry of Elkmont were injured in a wreck at 12:33 p.m. Oct. 16 at Jefferson and Forrest streets. – Athens Police

• Anna Gardner Malone of Athens was injured in a wreck at 4:44 p.m. Oct. 16 at U.S. 72 and Levert Avenue – Athens Police
