County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday and Saturday:

• Christopher Lee Gray, 36, of 1003 Frazier St., Athens, second-degree receiving stolen property

• Bradley Dale Heard, 34, of 226 Meeting House Road, Ardmore, Tenn., second-degree forgery

• Belinda Dianne Jones, 54, of 1711 W. Elm St., Apt. 66, Athens, probation revoked on previous conviction for third-degree theft

• Kendra Tenell Langford, 27, of 1702 Dianne St. SW, Decatur, identity theft, speeding and no child restraint

• Morris Leon Malone, 67, of 21324 Sugar Creek Estates Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment) and third-degree domestic violence (menacing)

• Leon Christopher Pickett, 46, of 511 N. Beaty St., Athens, probation revoked on previous conviction for third-degree receiving stolen property

• Toby Chad Richardson, 37, of 539 Fossett Road, Guntersville, violated probation on previous conviction for second-degree theft

Lydia Gail Sawyers, 27, of 16931 Menefee Road, Athens, second-degree theft

• Misty Brooke Shickles, 23, of 22304 Piney Chapel Road, Apt. B, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (assault)

• Smokey Glenn Summers Jr., 35, of 12125 Long Gate Road, Athens, public intoxication

• Jacob Ryan Flanagan, 32, of 402 N. Jefferson St., Apt. 13, Athens, third-degree burglary

• Robert Allen Hobbs, 37, of 12348 Fingerlake Way, Elkmont, bond revoked and probation violation on previous charge of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument, and third-degree receiving stolen property

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• ATHENS – Gas generator, three DeWalt brand drills and a miter saw, total value $800, stolen between Oct. 10 and 11 from 18000 block Cross Key Road

• Three Wii brand video games, PlayStation game system, three camping tents, Coleman brand lantern and tools, total value $255, stolen Oct. 7 from 19000 block Alabama 127

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Cherry D. Mwaura, 52, of 700 Fifth Avenue Apartments, Apt. R-56, domestic violence (harassment)

• Ernesto Rodriguez Jr., 37, of 11609 Stewart Road, Tanner, disorderly conduct

• Angela Danielle Taylor, 43, of 506 Irvin St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance, DUI and illegal possession of prescription medication

• Larquis Delmar Crutcher, 23, of 1807 Levert Circle, Athens, giving false name to law enforcement, attempting to elude a police officer, failure to signal and driving while suspended

City thefts 

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• Glass door, two cartons of cigarettes, cash, Heavy Hitter brand hammer, Solaray brand sunglasses, Cumberland Materials cap, and Saftbak brand hoodie, total value $338, burglarized Oct. 10 in 100 block U.S. 72 West

• Samsung brand Galaxy S II cellphone with pink and white case, total value $600, stolen Oct. 11 from 600 block U.S. 72 West

• $15 damage to Ford Explorer radiator hose in criminal mischief between Oct. 9 and 10 in 700 block Fifth Avenue

Wrecks

• Louis Morris Pullum of Athens was injured in a wreck at 2:49 p.m. Thursday on Browns Ferry Road between U.S. 72 and 12th Street – Athens Police
