— County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Michelle Lynn Chapman, 42, of 110 Grove Park Lane, Madison, harassing communications and bond revoked on previous charge of harassment

• Mariah Carole Cook, 19, of 1092 Old Railroad Bed, Madison, harassment

• Lorie Lynn Ayres, 33, of 27831 McKee Road, Toney, second-degree possession of marijuana

• Erik J. Burgess, 36, of 26445 Branch Road, Athens, DUI and leaving the scene of an accident

• Joey Dannette Scoggins, 40, of 1812 Toll Gate Road S.E., Huntsville, third-degree criminal trespass

•  Meredith Shea Woodfin, 21, of 21720 Piney Chapel Road, Lot 62, Athens, DUI, possession of a controlled substance and second-degree possession of marijuana

• Steven Ray Wornkey, 36, of 27831 McKee Road, Toney, second-degree possession of marijuana

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• ATHENS — Two television sets, air compressor, Craftsman brand tools and six rods and reels, total $2,450, stolen during burglary Jan. 24 or 25 on Oakdale Road

• ATHENS — Stereo valued at $650 stolen during vehicle break-in Jan. 24 or 25 in 25000 block Evergreen Lane

• ATHENS — Chainsaw, tools, gasoline can and edger, total $390, stolen during burglary Jan. 24 or 25 in 15000 block Jackson Lane

• ATHENS — Toolbox containing tools, drill, circular saw and Craftsman tool set, total $1,125, stolen during burglary Jan. 25 in 15000 block Jackson Lane

• ATHENS — Stereo, toolbox containing tools and antique sausage grinder, total $1,050, stolen during burglary at Alabama 99 and Easter Ferry Road between Jan. 22 and 25

• ELKMONT — Nintendo game console, PS3 game console, controllers and chargers, partial total $388, stolen from 21000 block Ashley Brook Way between Jan. 15 and 26

• ATHENS — Stove, air compressor, screwdriver sets, miter saw, reciprocating saw and finish nail guns, partial total $1,600, stolen during burglary Jan. 25 or 26 in 15000 block Ripley Road

• TONEY — Medication and jewelry valued at $305 stolen during burglary Jan. 26 in 27000 block Battrumville Road

• ATHENS — Grill valued at $120 stolen from 14000 block Bell Road between Jan. 14 and 19

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Christopher Brian Mears, 25, of 29579 Easter Ferry Road, Lester, harassment

• Mary Deanna Hughes, 20, of 113 Swan Drive, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (menacing)

• Tanya Dawn Johnson, 37, of 902 Woodridge Drive, Athens, driving under the influence (alcohol and other drug)

• Makyla Holly Terry, 27, of 1315 Summerville Road, Decatur, DUI

• Sean Edwin Cameron, 25, of 26540 Johnson Lane, Toney, DUI

• Vanessa Louise Collins, 40, of 1503 Tower St., Decatur, public intoxication

• Rohn Everett Pruett, 58, of 606 U.S. 31, Room 120, Athens, third-degree criminal trespass

• Lakerris Antwan Petty, 29, of 1302 Brownsferry St., Athens, attempting to elude

• Vanessa Lashaun White, 33, of 803 N. Beaty St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Steven Dwight Woods, 38, of 311 Longview St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Wheel valued at $27 stolen Jan. 25 from 15000 block Lucas Ferry Road

• Two laptop computers, total $950, stolen from 1031 U.S. 72 East, Suite B, by fraudulent leasing between Nov. 25, 2012, and Jan. 25

• Cadillac Deville in 300 block Welch Drive valued at $2,000 used without authorization between Jan. 22 and 25

• Refrigerator and two chairs, total $1,750, stolen during burglary Jan. 25 in 1400 block Freeman Avenue

• Propane tank valued at $100 stolen Jan. 25 or 26 from 14000 block Cambridge Lane 

• $50 in cash stolen by deception Jan. 26 in 1500 block U.S. 72 East

• News Courier newspaper stolen Jan. 27 from 1200 block West Market Street 

• Wallet, telephone charger, lunch box, Redstone Federal Credit Union bank card, Social Security card, Alabama driver’s license and cash, total $41, stolen during vehicle break-in Jan. 27 in 1000 block U.S. 72 East

• Driver’s side door of Dodge Charger sustained $500 due to criminal mischief Jan. 28 in 200 block Tanglewood Drive
