County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Angela Lasha Lynn, 18, of 10490 County Road 92, Rogersville, second-degree domestic violence (assault)

• Joshua Lloyd Patterson, 24, of 26696 Whitt St., Apt. 24, Ardmore, third-degree domestic violence (harassment) and first-degree possession of marijuana

• Bradley Lamar Ray, 35, of 21240 Alabama 99, Athens, DUI and improper use of lane

• Johnny Wayne Ruffin, 46, of 109 Cedar St., Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for third-degree escape

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents and thefts Wednesday:

• ATHENS — Copper wiring and a hot water heater, no values given, stolen between Dec. 1 and 28 in 19000 block Piney Chapel Road

• MADISON — LG brand 32-inch TV, Hense 55-inch TV, Wii Nintendo, Apple iPad, Sony DVD player and 24 Cutco knives, total value $3,300, burglarized between Nov. 27 and 28 in 25000 block Winterwood Drive

• MADISON — Supplemental Security Income check, valued at $2,019, stolen between Dec. 1 and 12 on Swann Cot Road

• ELKMONT — Riding mower, push mower, weed trimmer, diamond plated toolbox and air compressor, total value $650, stolen between Dec. 17 and 29 in 17000 block Happy Hollow Road

• MADISON — $64 cash stolen between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 in 7000 block Greenbrier Road 

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Katherine Ann Brewer, 26, of 1215 Audubon Lane, Apt. 209, Athens, driving under the influence

• Shelley Nicole Gillespie, 32, of 904 Beech St., Athens, probation revocation

• Galvin Deshawn Peoples, 30, of 13773 Ripley Road, Athens, DUI

• Alissa Denise Smith, 27, of 509 Elkton St., Athens, third-degree theft of property



City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Apple Nano Silver iPod, valued at $500, stolen between Nov. 30 and Dec. 31 in 300 block Colbert Street

• Westinghouse refrigerator, GE stove and four windows, total value $605, stolen between Aug. 1 and Dec. 13 in 400 block Vine Street

• Damage to right side of Toyota Camry estimated at $700 in criminal mischief Dec. 31 in 900 block U.S. 72 East

• Bag, wallet, phone and solar chargers, knife and identity documents, total value $47, and $330 cash, stolen Dec. 31 at Walmart, 1011 U.S. 72 East

• Government issue cellphone, valued at $30, stolen between Dec. 30 and 31 in 1900 block Cain Drive

• Browning Sweet 16 A5 rifle, .25-caliber pistol, Browning A-bolt 2 7 mm rifle with short Mag Nikon Scope, cash, .40-caliber pistol, fish-shaped change bowl, PlayStation 3 game console, two PlayStation 3 games, and Intratec .22-caliber long rifle with wear on the top right side of the barrel, total value $9,420, burglarized Dec. 31 in 300 block North Debeth  Plaza

• Birth certificate, gold ring with ruby stone, safe, Sony Vaio laptop computer, Vizio 32-inch TV, HTC Inspire cellphone, Nintendo Super gaming system and mirror with etching, total value $$1,760, burglarized between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 in 600 block Swan Drive

• Rear windshield of GMC pickup sustained damage estimated t $100 in criminal mischief between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 in 100 block Judy Drive

• Three Visa bank cards, tablet, Apple iPhone 3GS phone in white case, leather billfold and saddle bag purse, total value  $370, stolen Jan. 1 in 700 block U.S. 31 South

Wrecks

• Tiffany Denise Petty of New Market was injured in an accident at 1:47 p.m. Dec. 31 on Kelli Drive at the intersection of Grant Drive and U.S. 72

• Brandy Leigh Craft of Athens was injured in an accident at 2:40 p.m. Dec. 31 on U.S. 72 at Hine Street
