County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Michelle Verniece Brummitt, 20, of 28295 West Limestone School Road, Lester, no proof of insurance, driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

• David Gali, 24, of 28362 Jennings Chapel Road, Lot 1-A, Toney, violated probation on previous charge of third-degree burglary

• Niki Lashea Odell, 27, of 106 Butler Drive, Athens, two counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Martin Dias Tello, 39, of 3602 McClellan St., Apt. B, Huntsville, third-degree domestic violence (harassment) and third-degree criminal mischief

• Martin Veneros Armenta, 29, of 702 Levert Ave., Athens, DUI and driving with a suspended license

• Gregory Shane Ridinger, 42, of 19720 Crosskey Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (menacing)

• Cory Ladale White, 28, of 25809 Cole St., Elkmont, public intoxication



County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Jordan brand shoes, valued at $150, taken during the breaking and entering of a vehicle April 24 on Snake and Parker roads

• 2005 Chevrolet Impala, valued at $5,000, stolen April 27 or 28 in 30000 block U.S. 72 East

• HARVEST — Lone Wolf brand 1996 utility trailer, valued at $800, stolen April 29 in 15000 block Menefee Road

• ATHENS — Hyperlite brand wakeboard, Liquid Force brand wake-surfboard and two Ronix brand life vests, total value $1,060, stolen between April 21 and 29 in 5000 block Bay Village Drive

• ATHENS — Aboveground pool, valued at $500, stolen between April 28 and 29 in 24000 block Wagon Trail

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• James Goodman Echols, 19, of 28912 Alabama 53, Ardmore, possession of a controlled substance

• James Maldeze Moore, 26, of 889 Lunsford Drive, Apr. 503, Auburn, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• George Randall Piersol, 39, 100 E. Sanderfer Road, public intoxication

• Casiano Joachin-Silva, 43, of 2121 Sanderfer St., Athens, DUI

• Jennifer Smith Montgomery, 30, of 29616 Barnes Ave., Ardmore, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance

• Clifton Eugene Tatum 19, of 705 N. Malone St., Athens, menacing

• Charlotte Marlow Miller, 47, of 26631 Beatline Road, Athens, third-degree theft

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Chevy Lumina bumper sustained $1,200 in damages during criminal mischief April 28 in 100 block Cascade Drive

• Siding breaker, air compressor, three walk boards, 15 ladders and a utility trailer stolen April 28 from 300 block North Lindsay Lane

• Metal door and doorframe sustained $150 in damages during criminal mischief between April 27 and 28 in 1400 block North Jefferson Street, Lot C

• Check book, no value listed, stolen April 28 in 900 block South Clinton Street

• Double-pane door window with mini blinds between panes sustained $300 damage April 28 in 1000 block Sommerest Drive

• Hatch back window of Chevrolet Blazer sustained $300 in damages during criminal mischief April 28 in 1000 block Pryor Street

• Five miscellaneous DVDs, NCAA 12 Xbox game, Modern Warfare 3 Xbox game and 15 Suboxone, total value $160, stolen April 29 in 800 block North Madison Street

• Bottle of Australian Gold tanning lotion and one pair of gloves, total value $22, stolen April 29 from 1000 block U.S. 72 East

• Criminal mischief to green, four-door Ford Tauras sedan between April 22 and 29 on Fifth Avenue

• Glass door sustained $400 damage between April 28 and 30 in 800 block North Jefferson Street

• Vending drink machine, doorframe, safe and back door sustained $1,400 in damages during criminal mischief between April 29 and 30 in 500 block South Clinton Street
