County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Tracy Dale Borden, 41, of 1498 Alabama 67 South, Lot Q, Decatur, driving under the influence (controlled substance), improper lane use and possession of drug paraphernalia 

• Misty Celenia Hawkins, 36, of 14149 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, second-degree theft



County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• ATHENS — String trimmer valued at $100 stolen from 20000 block Old Elkmont Road between April 18 and 25

• ATHENS — Medication valued at $22 stolen during vehicle break-in April 25 in 19000 block Alabama 99

• ATHENS — Bucket-claw bulldozer valued at $5,000 stolen April 24 or 25 from 9500 block Mary Davis Hollow Road

• ATHENS — Medication valued at $6.46 stolen April 25 from 15000 block Jones Road

• ATHENS — Medication of unknown value stolen April 25 from 13000 block Reid Road 

• ATHENS — Rockford brand speaker and Risiko brand speaker, total $120, stolen April 25 from 15000 block O’Neal Road  

• ATHENS — Apple brand iPhone valued at $900 stolen April 25 from 17000 block Fairway Drive

• ATHENS — Motorola Droid cellphone valued at $700 stolen April 1 from 14000 block U.S. 72 West  

• ATHENS — Fourteen-row cleaners for John Deere planter valued at$7,000 stolen from 13000 block Blackburn Road April 25 or 26

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Ricky Arnez Williams, 48, of 911 Ash St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance and second-degree possession of marijuana

• Sandybell Lozada Scott, 26, of 1518 First Ave. S.W., Decatur, driving while suspended, no proof of insurance and harassment

• Maureen Frances Greer, 25, of 214 Texas Circle, Athens, obstruction of justice

• Michael Barrett Dorne, 36, of 22232 Hood St., Athens, public intoxication

• Courtney Terrell Johnson, 35, of 108 Ash St., Athens, driving with a revoked license and without insurance



City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• Seventy mobile home tires, valued at $1,750, stolen between April 23 and 26 in 1000 block U.S. 72 East

• Low boy trailer, valued at $2,000, stolen between April 23 and 25 in 2000 block South Lindsay Lane

• Ford Focus, valued at $300, stolen between April 25 and 26 in 1700 block South Jefferson Street

• Standard doorframe sustained $250 damage in criminal mischief between April 24 and 27 in 500 block North Marion Street
