County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday and Saturday:

• Bob Timothy Adams, 33, of 24324 Alabama 99, Elkmont, probation revoked on previous conviction for third-degree criminal mischief

• Johnny Luther Allred, 41, of 23222 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, Tanner, probation revoked on previous conviction for violating a protection order

• Jessica Cielu Braden, 35, of 22501 New Garden Road, Lot 7, Elkmont, bond revoked on previous charge of harassment

• Michael Orell Gray, 42, of 19788 Townsend Ford Road, Athens, failing to deliver title

• Terry Neal Griffin, 51, of 15842 Kings Drive, Athens, probation revoked on previous conviction for third-degree burglary

• Blake Waylon Hopkins, 23, of 285 Summer Ford Road, Danville, second-degree theft

• Juan Jose Mejia, 27, of 205 Maple St., Athens, detained for Immigration and Customs  Enforcement

• Donald Harold Schmitt Jr., 41, of Joppa, second-degree theft (for Escambia County)

• Patrick Alan Turlington, 22, of 306 Harold Drive, Decatur, bond revoked on previous charges of three counts of reckless murder and first-degree assault

• Joshua Michael Wall, 30, of 4188 Americana Drive, Apt. 203, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, public intoxication

• Holly Beth Wilson, 27,of 2232 Levert Ave., Athens, giving false name and bonds revoked on previous charges of no insurance and three counts of driving with a revoked license

• Jamal Phalon Anderson, 19,  of 107 Edinburgh Drive, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for possession of a controlled substance.

• Justin Dewitt Blaydes, 27, of 15220 Kings Drive, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for driving under the influence

• Wendell Hyter, 47, of 16069 Fort Hampton Road, Elkmont, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Telly Savalas Jacobs, 36, of 939 E. Strain Road, Athens, failing to register as a sex offender

• Phillip Ray Johnson, 43, of 24748 Alabama 251, Ardmore, driving with a suspended license

• Ligarus Monta Lewis, 39, of 17863 Dobbins Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Sebastian Ramos Lopez, 26, of 1410 N. Jefferson St., Athens, DUI

• Carlos Centeno Mitchell, 38, of 1300 Wheeler St., Athens, possession of drug paraphernalia

• James Devin Ray, 35, of 19910 Elkton Road, Athens, third-degree assault

• Chelsa Marie Smith, 40, of 20956 Carey Road, Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Kelly Leighann Thomas, 26, of 2600 Tunsel Road, Hartselle, possession of drug papaphernalia and illegal possession of prescription drugs

• Thomas Allen Vinson, 51, of 10145 Sandlin Cemetery Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Marty Lynn Whisman, 29, of 2310 Spring Ave., Decatur, first-degree robbery (grand jury indictment)

• Mark Anthony White, 54, of 16346 Deer Lane, Athens, DUI



County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• ATHENS – Browning .380-caliber handgun, valued at $550, taken in burglary between Sept. 6 and 27 from 26000 block Mill Creek Drive

• ATHENS – Table saw, air compressor, Craftsman brand circular saw, hand saw, two Craftsman/Ryobi routers, two Craftsman/Skil drills, drill bit sets, cordless drills and bench grinder, total value $718, taken in burglary between June 1 and Sept. 27 from 19000 block Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road

• MADISON – Washer, amp, set of weights, two deep freezers, mini-refrigerator and 24 porcelain dolls, total value $1,928, stolen between July 18 and Sept. 4 from 13000 block Sugar Plum Way

• ATHENS – Pressure washer, valued at $50, stolen between Sept. 24 and 26, from 21000 block Mooresville Road

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported no arrests Friday.

City thefts 

Athens Police Department reported no thefts Friday.

Wrecks

• Sarah Ann Roberts, 19, of Elkmont, was injured in a two-vehicle wreck at 6:20 p.m. Thursday on Gatlin Road, three miles south of Ardmore. — State troopers

• Jackie Clowers, 70, and his passenger Sarah Carr, 18, both of Meridianville, were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 1:35 p.m. Thursday on Alabama 127 near Elkmont.  — State troopers
