County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Leonard Curtis Bailey, 60, of 700 Coleman Ave., Athens, parole violation

• Mitchell Joseph Caldwell, 34, of 18348 Oakdale Road, Athens, failing to pay child support

•  Teresa Ann Coleman, 46, of 807 Peachtree St., Athens, driving under the influence

• Larosalyn Etherich Freeman, 41, of 218 Eighth Ave. NW, Decatur, probation revocation

• America Naomi Proffitt, 33, of 1601 W. Elm St., Apt. E-30, Athens, failing to pay child support

• Lucas Wayne Stanford, 30, of 500 Elkton St., Athens, five counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Jeffery Leonard Wiggins Jr., 32, of 25310 Bain Road, Athens, contempt of court 

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Tuesday.

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Brandon Shane Lewter, 33, of 1206 Tower St., Athens, domestic violence (harassment)

• Timothy Wyndle Smith, 45, of 1222 College St. SE, Apt. B, Decatur, theft of property

• Laquinten Demar Malone, 24, of 2106 Aretha St., Athens, stalking

• Lucas Wayne Stanford, 30, of 500 Elkton St., Apt. E-11, Athens, arrest for Limestone County Sheriff’s Office

• Lori Ann Bolton, 20, of 29533 Salem Minor Hill, Lester, public intoxication (drugs)

City thefts 

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• Four Alabama ID cards, no value listed, part of forgery and identity theft Aug. 12 on U.S. 72 at Browns Ferry Road

• Antique wood extension ladder and five-panel antique wood door, total value $1,300, stolen Aug. 24 fro 700 block North Jefferson Street

• Purple dress, valued at $100, stolen Oct. 1, 2011, from 800 block of North Beaty Street

• Two screens from patio damaged, total value $100, in criminal mischief involving public intoxication and drugs Aug. 27 in 19000 block Runway Street

• GPS, valued at $200, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle Aug. 27 on Camelot Private Drive
