County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Christopher Andrew Barnett, 24, of 19054 Alabama 99, Athens, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia  

• David Lee Brown, 32, of 29354 Ninth Ave., Ardmore, second-degree theft

• Louis Jermaine Cattage, 31, of 108 Cedar St., Athens, driving under the influence

• Anthony Ray Howard, 41, of 1212 Elm St. S.W., Birmingham, bond revoked on previous conviction for trafficking in heroin

• Wayne Earl Hughes, 51, of 1901 Linwood Drive, Columbia, Tenn., DUI

• Larry Gene King, 38, of 3156 Mount Zion Road, Stockbridge, Ga., DUI

• Maya Louise Lampkin, 17, of 1519 Phillips Ave. S.W., Decatur, DUI and speeding

• Dillion Tyler Lindner, 20, of 1308 Tommy Lane, Athens, probation revoked on four previous counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Gerald Wayne Adams Jr., 49, of 22797 Alabama 99, Elkmont, DUI

• Kali Paige Burton, 19, of 25185 Bulah Road, Elkmont, third-degree domestic violence (harassment), two counts of third-degree criminal mischief, and harassment

• Bobby Ray Miller, 70, of 28541 McKee Road, Toney, possession of a controlled substance 

• Christy Anne Miller, 41, of 1507 Reynard St., Athens, DUI (controlled substance) and no proof of insurance

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• ATHENS — Wire, pliers, wrenches, Makita brand drill and wheel barrow, total $1,488, stolen May 4 from Athens, no block or street number listed

• ATHENS — Ruger brand .45-caliber handgun valued at $450 stolen during vehicle   break-in on Reid Road between May 1 and 3

• MADISON — 80-bushel car and 75 bushels of corn, total $2,500, stolen May 3 or 4 from 11000 block Burgreen Road

• ATHENS — Scrap metal of unknown value stolen May 4 or 5 from 16000 block Shaw Road

• TANNER — E-Z-Go brand golf cart valued at $2,000 stolen May 5 from 10000 U.S. 31 South

• ATHENS — Candy and drinks valued at $147 stolen May 4 or 5 during burglary along U.S. 72 West 

• ELKMONT — Eighteen-foot utility trailer valued at $8,000 stolen May 5 from 25000 block West Limestone School Road,

• ELKMONT — Yard Man brand push mower, Hewlett-Packard computer, Craftsman brand chain saw and string trimmer, Kobalt brand air compressor, home stereo system, Nintendo brand DSI game console and one Xbox 360 game system, total value $3,199, taken in a burglary May 5 from 15000 block Hampton Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Matthew Lee Hill, 28, of 290 Pentecost Road, Eva, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for third-degree theft of property

• Shelly Nicole Gillespie, 31, of 1706 Townsend Trace, Decatur, probation revoked on previous conviction for DUI

• Bennie Daniel Adcock, 63, of 20087 Looney Road, Athens, operating a pawnshop

• Larry Donell Malone, 52, of 800 Westmoreland Ave., Athens, public intoxication

• Thomas Lucia Perez, 31, of 711 First Ave., Athens, DUI

• Teresa Gail Peoples, 36, of 118 Shiloh Road, Hazel Green, DUI

• Pizzaro Cordorra Rogers, 35, of 1710 Rogers Drive, Athens, DUI

• Ronnie Eugene Green II, 28, of 68 County Road 351, Moulton, DUI

• Matthew Travis Gee, 24, of 19170 Alabama 99, Athens, public lewdness

• Timothy Eugene Mayberry, 42, of 18944 Hightower Drive, Athens, DUI

• Delores Segura-Martinez, 35, of 504 Kennan Road, Huntsville, DUI

• Veronica Lynn Wise, 26, of 212 Texas Circle, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)  

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Five CDs, total $50, stolen May 4 from Walmart at 1011 U.S. 72 East

• Window screen, interior door, a Wii brand game system and 20 Wii games, total $970, stolen during burglary May 5 in 600 block North Beaty Street

Wrecks

• ATHENS — Jamar Jones, 31, of Hammond, La., was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 1:30 a.m. May 6 on Lentzville Road, 12 miles west of Athens — state troopers

• ATHENS — L.C. Davis, 49, of Elkmont, was injured at 7:35 p.m. May 5 in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 72, six miles west of Athens — state troopers

• ATHENS — Crystal Jackson, 36, of Athens, was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 5:50 p.m.  May 4 on U.S. 72, four miles west of Athens — state troopers

•ATHENS — James Travis Carwile of Athens was injured in an accident at 4 p.m. May 4 on North Hine Street at Sandra Lane — Athens Police
