County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Johnny Luther Allred, 41, of 23222 Browns Ferry Road, Tanner, public intoxication  

• Barry Lavon Chambers, 49, of 15152 Reid Road, Athens, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for driving under the influence

• David Lee McCaulley, 20, of 22859 White Oak, Toney, possession of drug paraphernalia

• Dylan Wade Williams, 17, of 28236 Lambert Road, Ardmore, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• ATHENS — H&R .22-caliber handgun valued at $300 stolen April 15 from vehicle in parking lot

• ATHENS — Panasonic brand 42-inch plasma television, TiVo, Samsung brand disc player, Nintendo brand Wii game console, LG brand 32-inch plasma television, Magnavox brand DVD player, Vivatar brand recorder and Acer brand desktop computer, total $2,705, stolen during burglary April 17 in 18000 block Alabama 99

• ELKMONT — Set of keys stolen April 17 or 18 from 17000 block Happy Hollow Road

• LESTER — Burglary reported April 17 in 28000 block West Limestone Road but nothing missing 

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Betty Yvonne Bell, 55, of 23733 Pressnell Road, Lot 4, Athens, DUI

• Jeffery Wayne Cobb, 32, of 17133 Menefee Road, Athens, DUI

• Thomas Daniel Dructor, 28, of 907 N. Beaty St., Athens, domestic violence (harassment) and first-degree possession of marijuana

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Two $100 bills stolen April 17 from Walmart

• Alabama trailer license plate No. 44UT1859 valued at $15 stolen April 17 from Kingswood Drive, no block number available

• Taurus brand .38-caliber handgun, medication, 1992 Alabama National Championship knife, silver dollars, eight boxes of 20-year-old baseball cards, 30-inch-by-40-inch safe, gold colored bank bag full of memorabilia and Dell brand laptop computer, total $1,252, stolen during burglary April 17 in 17000 block Lucas Ferry Road

• $70 in cash stolen April 17 in 1500 block Hobbs Street

• Chevrolet Trailblazer valued at $3,000 stolen April 18 from 1500 block South Monroe Street

• Glass storm door valued at $250 damaged due to criminal mischief April 18 in 700 block South Houston Street

Wrecks

• Franklin Nehemiah Moore of Athens was injured in an accident April 17 on Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road between Lindsay Lane and Franklin Street  

• Rick L. Ramsey of Athens was injured in an accident April 17 on Jefferson Street at Washington Street

• Betty Yvonne Bell of Athens was injured in an accident April 17 on U.S. 251 between Yarbrough and Linton roads 

• Sabrina Sue Bailey of Athens was injured in an accident April 18 on Alabama 251 between Lindsay Lane and the Interstate 65 bridge
