The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:
• Betty Yvonne Bell, 55, of 23733 Pressnell Road, Lot 6, Athens, driving under the influence
• Jeffery Wayne Cobb, 32, of 17133 Menefee Road, Athens, DUI
• Cynthia Nicole Hebert, 31, of 13266 Hickory Hill Road, Lot 4, Athens, two counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Allen Jackson Plunkett, 20, homeless, public intoxication
• Richard Hiram Rosser, 47, of 15 County Road 1128, Vinemont, two counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• ATHENS — Ruger brand 9-milimeter handgun valued at $650 stolen during vehicle break-in April 17 or 18 in 27000 block Azalea Trail
• LESTER — Oak dining room set with six chairs, china cabinet, two bar stools, entertainment center and three antique saws, $5,700, stolen from 30000 block Lester Road between March 23 and 28
• TONEY — Checkbook valued at $15 stolen during burglary April 17 or 18 in 19000 East Limestone Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:
• Courtney Terrell Johnson, 35, of 108 Ash St., Athens, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, giving false information to law-enforcement officer and attempting to elude
• Amanda Michele Brooks, 33, of 25021 Elkton Road, Elkmont, domestic violence
• Donovan Anthony Llewellyn, 45, of 1401 Tower St., Athens, domestic violence (harassment)
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• Shih Tzu and Poodle mix valued at $300 stolen April 18 from 200 block Bridgeforth Street
• Microsoft brand Xbox 360 game console valued at $300 stolen during burglary April 18 in 800 block West Washington Street
• Screen door sustained $25 damage due to criminal mischief April 18 in 12000 block Summers Road
Wrecks
• Hayden Robinson, 4, of Athens, was injured in an accident at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday on Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, one mile south off Athens, according to state troopers. The child was in a safety seat when the accident occurred, according to the report.
