County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• 15-year-old boy from Athens charged with third-degree domestic violence (assault) and criminal mischief. News Courier typically withholds names of juveniles charged with crimes.

• Stacy Eugene Curtis, 39, of 290 County Road 296, Hillsboro, DUI (combined substances), improper lane use and expired tag

• William Patrick Johnson, 42, of 21905 Daveen Drive, Elkmont, public intoxication, resisting arrest and attempting to elude

• Aric Qwashae Smith, 18, of 23833 Glover Road, Athens, DUI (under age 21) and leaving the scene of an accident

• Eric Richard Chandler, 41, of 12256 Lakeview St., Athens, harassment

• Timothy Nathan Hopper, 37, of 23121 Cairo Hollow Road, Athens, DUI

• Paul Stephen Montgomery, 39, of 11253 Stewart Road, Tanner, DUI (combined substances), possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct

• Anthony Glen Smart, 51, of 22284 Buttermilk Way, Athens, public intoxication

• Michael Damon Stuckey, 49, of 137 Hazel Trace, Hazel Green, DUI

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Monday.

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Darlene Dison Craig, 45, 22270 Sugar Way, Elkmont, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for driving under the influence

• Jody Strang Ferrell, 42, of 21471 Nelson Lane, Athens, probation revoked on previous conviction for third-degree theft

• Neely Marie Parker, 30, of 110 Deer Point Lane, Apt. E-8, Rogersville, theft of property

• Amanda Gail Gibson, 32, of 2411 County Road 545, Anderson, third-degree theft of property

• Justin Dewitt Blaydes, 27, of 2220 Windscape Drive, Apt. 64, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Larry Donnell White, 57, of 2116 S. Hine St., Athens, public intoxication

• Bryan Edward Hooper, 38, of 402 N. Jefferson St., Apt. 12, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment) 

• LaBrent Marques Farrar, 23, of 1603 Batts St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence

• Susan Louise Stubbs, 44, of 18869 Cross Key Road, Athens, unauthorized use of a vehicle

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Apple brand iPhone 4 valued at $500 stolen May 7 from Wellness Center on Fitness Way

• Four toe rings, two anklets, nine tank tops, Gillette brand ProGlide razor, T-shirt, sports bra and two mesh shirts, total $89, stolen May 18 from Walmart at 1011 U.S. 72 East

• Owner of Mitsubishi SUV failed to pay for $86 in gasoline May 18 from BP at 103 U.S. 31 South

• Troy-Bilt brand riding lawnmower valued a t $1,200 stolen May 19 from 1300 block Brownsferry Street

• Brahmin brand alligator purse with tassel valued at $300 lost or stolen May 19 at Walmart along with contents, including $190 Coach brand wallet, $47 in cash and four credit/debit cards, Social Security card, insurance card, Chico’s merchandise card, Walmart gift card and Alabama driver’s license, total $552

• Dresser with mirror, nightstand, electric roaster, Hamilton Beach brand steamer, Frigidaire brand refrigerator, grill/smoker, Emerson brand 13-inch TV/DVD combo, box of yarn and pots and pans, total $1,070, stolen during burglary in 500 block North Marion Street between May 6-20

• 1997 Pontiac Grand Am valued at $1,100 stolen May 15 from 19000 block Runway Street

• Two light bulbs, door lock and jam cover, total $200, damaged due to criminal mischief May 21 in 19000 block Alabama 127
