County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrest Monday:

• Sheena Nikia Yarbrough, 31, of 1931 Cain Drive, Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument  

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Monday.

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• April Hardy Dructor, 25, of 704 S. Houston St., Athens, driving under the influence

• Ashley Leighanne Smith, 24, of 807 Second Ave., Athens, third-degree theft of property

• Nathan Henry Rodriguez, 22, of 807 Second Ave., Athens, shoplifting

• James Russell Spencer, 25, of 901 N. Houston St., Athens, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication

• Charles Edwin McClain, 22, of 4010 Pecanwood Drive, Oxford, DUI



City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Eyelash adhesive valued at $3 stolen April 20 from 600 block U.S. 72 West

• Two house keys and a cellphone stolen April 20 from a vehicle in 200 block Durham Drive; and unauthorized use of Chevrolet Tahoe

• Two tubes of Shoe Goo brand shoe glue, two X-acto brand hobby knives, a brown dress, a pair of women’s shorts and a bottle of India ink, total $45, stolen April 21 from 1000 block U.S. 72 East

• Pizza valued at $56 stolen April 21 from 900 W. Washington St.

• $60 in cash stolen April 22 from 100 block U.S. 31 South

• Driveway sustained $200 damage due to criminal mischief April 22 in 1600 block West Market Street 

Wrecks

• Carrie Graham Webster of Athens was injured in a wreck at 9:27 a.m. April 20 on Jefferson Street between Washington and Green streets in Athens — Athens Police

• Michael David Cornelius of Athens was injured in a wreck at 8:50 p.m. April 20 on West Elm Street between Jefferson and Wheeler streets in Athens — Athens Police

• Karen Renee Hardy of Athens was injured in a wreck at 1:31 p.m. April 22 on Jefferson Street between U.S. 72 and Ninth Street in Athens — Athens Police
