The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Dana Michelle Alvarado, 36, of 14001 Ripley Road, Lot 2, Athens, third-degree theft
• Tiffany Rachel Gibson, 35, of 26649 Sixth St., Ardmore, second-degree domestic violence (assault)
• Brandy Lucille Green, 27, of 103 Reynolds Road, Hazel Green, five counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Joshua Ryan Green, 28, of 103 Reynolds Road, Hazel Green, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Justin Nicholas Higgins, 21, of 13815 Stafford Road, Stafford, Texas, first-degree theft • Mark Lewis Scott, 39, of 256 Pleasant Hill Road, Prospect, Tenn., violating terms of probation on previous conviction for third-degree burglary (Limestone County Community Corrections Program)
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following theft Wednesday:
• ATHENS — Three Pelican brand 8-foot kayaks, one Pelican 84-inch paddle and two Sea Scene brand 84-inch paddles, total $850, stolen May 20 from 29000 block Dorning Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrest Wednesday:
• Jon Matthew King, 22, of 610 Summer Lane, Decatur, second-degree theft of property
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:
• Vehicle tag, valued at $25, stolen between April 7 and May 29 in 1100 block U.S. 31 South
• One men’s Hanes brand underwear and men’s polo shirt, total value $15, stolen May 29 from 500 block Jefferson Street
• Cameo necklace, two Cross brand writing pens, magnetic hematite bracelet, quartz crystal with amethyst heart necklace, amethyst necklace, matching earring and bracelet set, two containers of Nautica brand cologne, arrowhead necklace, cash, EBT card, Schrade brand four-blade knife and Winchester brand knife, total value $560, stolen between May 27 and 29 from 400 block North Jefferson Street
• Huffy brand bicycle, valued at $100, stolen May 29 from 600 block East McClellan Street
