County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• David Lee Brookshire, 54, of 14545 Seaman Road, Athens, reckless endangerment; arrested on warrant

• Dawn Doreen Child, 43, of 24158 Upper Fort Hampton Road, Elkmont, driving under the influence (alcohol and other drug) and no proof of insurance

• Philip Dean Cobb, 56, of 26721 Clem Road, Elkmont, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for DUI

• Luther James McKinney, 55, of 19234 Alexa Drive, Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Lerissa Barnett Townsend, 34, of 27485 Maples Road, Lester, possession of a controlled substance

• Vicki Lynn Watson, 39, of 316 Crestview St., Athens, probation revoked on previous conviction for DUI (alcohol and other drug)

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following theft Friday:

• Magnatron brand generator and Craftsman brand tool set, $900, stolen during burglary in 24000 block Elkton Road between March 5 and 10

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• John David Polk, 24, of 28266 West Limestone School Road, Lester, probation violation

• Matthew Peter Donahue, 37, of 12001 Carey Road, Athens, probation revocation

• Daisy Tanya Espinoza, 20, of 707 Second St., Athens, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI (controlled substance), and probation revoked on previous conviction for second-degree possession of marijuana

• Richard Brandon Payne, 28, of 29795 Bates Hollow Road, Ardmore, harassment and violating terms of probation on previous conviction for third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Tabatha Nicole Long, 20, of 110 Brandon Drive, Madison, second-degree possession of marijuana

• Sonya P. Kelley, 45, of 19907 Alabama 127, Athens, DUI (controlled substances)

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported no thefts Friday.
