County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Darlene Dison Craig, 45, of 500 Elkton St, H-12, Athens, leaving the scene of an accident with injury and operating a vehicle without insurance; grand jury indictment

• Patricia Jean Gardner, 49, of 23139 Kirby Lane, Athens, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Kenny William Gatlin, 31, of 21520 Easter Ferry Road, Elkmont, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Natakia Dominque Smiley, 20, of 13672 Dart Circle, Athens, seven counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Kenndall Jo Summers, 20, of 30472 Highland Drive, Ardmore, Tenn., possession of a controlled substance (Limestone County Community Corrections Program)

• Brandon Trent Thornton, 33, of 23139 Kirby Lane, Athens, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• ATHENS — Two 5 by 7 metal grates valued at $500 stolen April 24 from 20000 block Rick Ridge Road

• ARDMORE — 1990 Lexus valued at $5,200 stolen between Sept. 24, 2011, and April 24 

• ATHENS — Wallet containing $96 in cash stolen April 23 from Alabama 99 

• ATHENS — Two leaf blowers and one trimmer, total $750, stolen during burglary between April 17 and 24

• ELKMONT — 7 millimeter rifle, two handguns (9-milimeter and .22-caliber), eight games and one Motorola Droid, total $2,680, stolen during burglary in 22000 block New Garden Road between April 21 and 24  

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrest Wednesday:

• Bobby Joe Allen, 37, of 13255 U.S. 72 West, Athens, attempting to elude police officer, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal mischief and driving under the influence

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Three miter saws, two nail guns, five air hoses, 75-foot extension cord, one grinder and two battery chargers, total $1,005, stolen during burglary in 700 block North Clinton Street between April 22 and 25

• LG brand 42-inch, flat-screen television with DVD player valued at $500 stolen from Days Inn at 1322 U.S. 72 East, Room 105, between April 23 and 25

• Dell laptop computer and flat-screen TV, total $$1,700, stolen during burglary April 25 in 900 block North Beaty Street

• Wallet valued at $10 containing $250 in cash stolen April 25 or 26 from 200 block Southwind Drive

• Panasonic digital camcorder valued at $575 and jewelry valued at $1,240 stolen during burglary April 25 or 26 from 200 block Cloverleaf Drive
