County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday and Saturday:

• Tavares Marquez Adkins, 22, of 617 Cherry St. N.W., Decatur, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and harassment

• Tommie Gene Battles, 47, of 16874 Buckskin Drive, Athens, possession with intent to distribute and violating terms of probation on previous conviction for first-degree possession of marijuana (Limestone County Community Corrections Program) 

• Sylvia Blaydes, 53, of 16218 Blackburn Road, Athens, public intoxication

• Sean Arthur Conway, 52, of 105 Berwick Place, Franklin, Tenn., driving under the influence of drugs and improper lane use

• Joseph Lee Davis Jr., 19, of 301 Henry Drive, Athens, two counts of third-degree burglary

• Logan Dewayne Frost, 22, of 803 1/2 Irvin St., Athens, third-degree burglary

• Kara Kay Hines, 31, of 16738 Buckskin Drive, Athens, two counts of conspiracy to commit theft

• Roy Glen Robinson, 57, of 3004 Triana Boulevard, Huntsville, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for felony DUI

• Larry Dale Swanner, 60, of 13040 Nicole Way, Lot 33, Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Elizude Bautista Cruze, 20, of Johnson Road, no numeric address available, Huntsville, public intoxication

• Jeffery Lynn Daly, 53, of 21545 Upper Fort Hampton Road, Elkmont, third-degree theft

• James Shay Hennessee, 29, of Budget Inn, Room 114, Ardmore, second-degree receiving stolen property 

• Jose Hernandez Lopez, 31, of 174 Newson Road, Huntsville, public intoxication

•Antonio Garcia Lorenzo, 19, of Huntsville, no numeric or street address available, public intoxication

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following theft Friday:

• ATHENS — metal post valued at $50 stolen from 15000 block Alabama 251 between Dec. 20 and 23

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Michael Antwone Madry, 30, of 515 South Hine St., Apt. G-26, Athens, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for third-degree domestic violence (harassment) and driving under the influence

• Jason Dale Vibbert, 29, of 18483 Reid Road, Athens, bond revoked on previous charge of third-degree theft

• James Clint Brooks, 26, of 301 Longview St., Athens, second-degree theft

• Dakota Lynn Daly, 25, of 215 Morris Lane, Toney, third-degree burglary

• David Scott Bailey, 32, of 27846 Ranch Hill Road, Toney, contempt of court on driving while suspended (sentenced from court to five days in jail)

• John Henry Johnson Jr., 47, of 108 Ash St., Athens, speeding, driving while suspended and expired tag (sentenced from court to 53 days in jail)

• Heather Nicole Forsythe, 35, of 25386 Airport Road, Athens, first-degree possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• Dewalt brand 12-volt, cordless drill, My Buddy brand propane heater, red and black bicycle, yellow bicycle, Christmas lights, four 50-foot extension cords, collapsible table and 10 by10 red and white pole tent, total $2,310, stolen during vehicle break in Jan. 10 in 1200 block Audubon Lane

• Roadmaster brand 18-inch, black and pink mountain bike valued at $120 stolen Jan. 10 from 400 block Sanders Street

• Nine cabinets, six raceway signs and 18 channel letter signs, total $19,800, stolen Jan. 7 from 1200 block Edison Street
