County arrests
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday:
• Amanda Leigh Jones, 39, of 79 County Road 332, Florence, driving under the influence of a controlled substance, improper lights, second-degree promoting prison contraband and possession of a controlled substance
• Amanda Mae McCurry, 21, of 25471 Clem Road, Elkmont, second-degree arson (for Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office)
• Joshua Lloyd Patterson, 24, of 26696 Whitt St., Apt. 24, Ardmore, probation revoked on previous conviction for first-degree theft
• Timothy Mark Watkins, 37, of 150 Krapps Subdvision, Pulaski, Tenn., probation revoked on possession of a controlled substance
County thefts
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Friday.
City arrests
Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:
• Robert Anthony Davis, 25, of 105 Coffman Circle, Athens, possession of marijuana
• Gregory Todd Allen, 34, of 24308 Alabama 99, Elkmont, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of prescription drugs
City thefts
Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:
• Medications, total value $150, stolen Jan. 2 in 200 block Chestnut Street
• Ford Thunderbird, valued at $2,500, stolen between Jan. 1 and 3 at McDonald’s on U.S. 72 East
• Cellphone, valued at $100, stolen Jan. 3 in 20000 block Juniper Circle
