The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Ronnie Facison Jr., 21, of 707 Westmoreland Drive, Athens, third-degree burglary
• Efrain Olvera Martinez, 39, of 11330 Alabama 127, Athens, attempted murder and first-degree assault (grand jury indictment)
• Zachary Elias Tarpley, 22, of 511 Browns Ferry St., Athens, first-degree criminal mischief
• Derek Franklin Walls, 42, of 1799 Capshaw Road, Madison, harassment
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Wednesday.
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Alishia Paige Haney, 21, of 1106 Woodridge Drive, Athens, theft of property
• Sabrina Carol Johnson, 21, of 703 Woodridge Drive, Athens, theft of property
• Adan De Jesus Herrera, 39, of 909 N. Clinton St., Athens, driving under the influence
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:
• Merchandise valued at $98 stolen April 24 from Walmart at 1011 U.S. 72 East
• Front door sustained $100 in damage due to criminal mischief April 25 in 1500 block Wheeler Street
