County arrests
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Sunday and Monday:
• Jason William Andrews, 38, of 27728 Saddle Trail, Toney, failing to pay child support
• Thomas Franklin Butler, 34, of Salt Springs, Fla., violated probation of previous conviction for driving under the influence (for Marion County, Fla.)
• Eric Cecil Coulter, 26, of 9315 Poplar Point Road, Athens, second-degree possession of marijuana
• Michael Lee Reynolds, 48, of 19376 Looney Road, Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Joseph Wayne Ward, 41, of 9677 Sugar Creek, Lester, DUI (any substance) and carrying brass knuckles
• Sharon Melissa Holt, 50, of 2417 S. Hine St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance
County thefts
Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:
• MADISON – Jewelry box with fake stones, two Geneva/Bulova brand watches and 40-50 earring backs, total value $800, taken in burglary between Sept. 26 and 27 from 30000 block Andrea Lane
• TANNER – Steel fuel tank, valued at $400, stolen Sept. 28 from 10000 block Stewart Road
• HARVEST – Kenwood brand set of surround sound speakers, valued at $300, taken in burglary Sept. 28 from 18000 block East Limestone Road
• ATHENS – Two Moultrie brand M80 game cameras, valued at $400, stolen between Sept. 7 and 29 from McCormack Road
• ATHENS – Karaoke machine, valued at $30, and two antique bar stools, no value listed, stolen Sept. 29 from 25000 block Thatch Road

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:
• Charles Wayne Coffman, 48, of 12074 Little Coffman Road, Lester, driving with a revoked license and switched tag and allowing operation of a vehicle without insurance
• James Ray Franklin, 47, of 201 Goldenrod Lane, Madison, third-degree theft and third-degree criminal trespass
• Therold Edward Franklin, 57, of 1101 U.S. 31 South, Room 127, Athens, public intoxication
• Stanley Lee Gullett, 39, of 1201 N. Houston St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance
• Robert Louis Harris, 43, of 2414 U.S. 31 South, Room 129, Town & Country, Athens, terminating residence without notifying law enforcement
• Robert Patrick Henderson, 46, of 11851 Stewart Road, Tanner, DUI
• Amber Natasha Hunt, 29, of 202 Swann Drive, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for third-degree theft
• Kena Natasha Proctor, 29, of 420 Hargrove St., Apt. A, Athens, second-degree promoting prison contraband and public intoxication
• Heather Leanne Rice, 28, of 19184 Airfield St., Athens, attempt to commit controlled substance fraud
City thefts
Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:
• $154 cash stolen between June 8 and Sept. 17 from 600 block East Hobbs Street
• MacBook Pro laptop computer, valued at $1,800 taken during burglary Sept. 29 in 1000 block Henry Drive
• Samsung brand Gravity cellphone, valued at $100, stolen Sept. 29 from 100 block South Debeth Plaza
• $323 worth of items stolen from Chrysler PT Cruiser Sept. 29 at 1011 U.S. 72 East
• $30 in damage to mailbox in criminal mischief between Sept. 28 and 29 in 500 block Wellington Road
• Ring valued at $200, and mounting ring, valued at $1,700, stolen April 25 from 22000 block Village Lane
