County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:
• Stanley Dwayne Billions Jr., 28, of 1205 Seventh Ave., Athens, violating parole on previous conviction for first-degree possession of marijuana
• Donald James Duffy, 62, of Sheridan, Ill., possession of a controlled substance and second-degree
• Dale Jerlis Harris, 20, of 4530 Jeff Road, Toney, third-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief
• Timothy Alan Hedges, 47, of 11289 Caroline Drive, Apt. 514, Tanner, first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy (Marshall County)
• Michelle Dawn Hinds, 33, of 29342 Easter Ferry Road, Lester, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for negotiating worthless negotiable instrument
• Carlos Hernandez Jimon, 30, of 200 Chestnut St., Athens, hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement
• Patrick Lawon Johnson, 18, of 501 Henry Drive, Athens, bond revoked
• Bobby Derrall McConnell Jr., 36, of 25424 Flanagan Road, Athens, five counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Zachary Neil Moore, 28, of 29579 Easter Ferry Road, Athens, bond rescinded on previoius charge of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia
• George Nelson Jr., 51, of 13693 Dart Circle, Athens, two counts of third-degree theft
• James Madison Rowe, 23, of 12035 John Way, Apt. 8, Athens, probation violation on previous conviction for second-degree possession of marijuana
• Angela Diane Springer, 46, of 17063 Sledge Road, Athens, two counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• TANNER — Two packages of underwear and one package of T-shirts, total $22, stolen April 10 from 20000 block Swanner Boulevard
• ATHENS — Air-conditioning unit, three sets of curtains and three sets of blinds, total $700, stolen from 20000 block Alabama 251 between Feb. 15 and April 6
• EAST LIMESTONE — Tools and power tools valued at $4,500 stolen April 10 or 11 from Nick Davis and Mooresville roads
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported no additional arrests Thursday.
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:
• Chevrolet Impala sustained $100 in damage due to criminal mischief April 11 in 2000 block Booker Drive
• Fifty oxycontin pills valued at $1 stolen April 11 from 700 block Swan Drive
• $1,115 in cash stolen Jan. 21 through identity theft in 900 block North Hine Street
• Utilities valued at $300 stolen April 12 from 800 block North Malone Street
