Ardmore trailed Alexandria 3-2 in the seventh inning during the final game of their third round playoff series Tuesday afternoon. The Tigers have won so many games this season in the final inning, they didn’t blink when faced with another late game deficit. -
East-West kick off spring football games Friday
East and West Limestone have not met on the football field for more than 10 years. On Friday, the rivalry will be renewed in a spring football game at 6 p.m. in Capshaw.

Ardmore golf team headed back to state
In pouring rain, Ardmore shot a 335 as a team to finish second behind Guntersville, which won the section by shooting 310.
Ardmore was led once again by junior Lee Hodges, who was the low medalist with a score of 66. The next closest golfer to Hodges shot a 75. -
