Delmores donation

A fiddlers convention at Athens State University in the 1930s helped launch the career of the Delmore Brothers of Elkmont. Now Debby Delmore of Huntsville, center, the daughter of Alton Delmore, has donated her memorabilia to ASU to bring their career full circle. Athens Mayor Dan Williams, a cousin of the Delmore Brothers, and John Wayne King, vice president of student affairs at ASU, thank Delmore for her donation.
