Mr. and Mrs. George H. Ford Sr. of Athens celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary Sept. 27.
The family hosted a celebration Sept. 24 at Sardis Springs Baptist Church in Athens.
George and Annie are the parents of six children, Ann Rooks of Richmond, Va.; Dorothy Langley and husband E.L. of Edgefield, S.C.; Barbara Clanton and husband Phil of Madison; George Ford and wife Susan of Athens; Tommy Ford and wife Donna of Clarksville, Ark., and David Ford and wife Diane of New Market.
The Fords have 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
