Eugene and Madelene Britnell of Athens will celebrate their 70th anniversary March 14.
Mr. and Mrs. Britnell were married March 14, 1942, in Franklin County.
They have two children, Olen Eugene Britnell of Athens and Charles Keith Britnell of Harvest, and six grandchildren, Barry Britnell, Bonny Britnell Black and Barbara Jo Britnell Webb, all of Athens, Lauren Britnell McNatt of Nashville, Tenn., and Julie Elizabeth Britnell and Charles Cody Britnell, both of Harvest. They have 10 great-grandchildren.
