Allen and Marie Davis of Athens celebrated their 60th anniversary Jan. 22 at Westside Community Center. The celebration was hosted by children and grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Davis were married Jan. 19, 1952, in Iuka, Miss.
They have four children, Nickie Davis, Myra and husband Paul Loggins, Kathy and husband Tim Massey, and Gail and husband Larry Knowles, all of Athens, and seven grandchildren, Matt Loggins and wife Kelli, Allison and husband Heath Thompson, Anthony Loggins, Rachel Massey, Cody Loggins, Beth and husband Michael Pontal and Laura and husband Westley Ritcher, all of Athens. They have five great-grandchildren, Alaina and Preston Loggins, Jasper and Sawyer Thompson and Aubree Massey.
