Retired Col. Mel and Wanda McLemore celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 26 at the Alabama Veterans Museum. The celebration was hosted by their daughters, Debbie and Sandi, who is stationed in Egypt. More than 130 guests including family members and friends, with most going back to the couple’s dating days plus classmates, attended the reception. The reception was highlighted by a video and catered by LuVici’s. The McLemore’s are planning a trip to Costa Rica. They reside off County Line Road.
