It's never too early for football
Athens High School running back Jarrett Maclin takes a pitchout during spring practice Wednesday afternoon. Football teams from high schools across Limestone County are preparing for spring jamboree games. Athens will face off against the James Clemens High School Jets on Friday, May 17, in Madison.

The Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives will host a Memorial Day ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Limestone County Event Center on Pryor Street across from the Veterans Museum.
